Okay, here are a lot of pix of Olivia & Derek fishing at "our" pond. Dano took them back to the pond after lunch today. They had a great time. Olivia caught 8 fish... yes, EIGHT. Dano took a picture of each one. He just had them fishing for brim (not bass). Derek caught 3 before he decided it took too long. He just played around after that, but Olivia was quite the fisherwoman according to Dano. He was really proud of her the way she would pay attention to the bobber and wait and hook the fish. She was really proud of herself and all the fish she caught. She was especially proud of herself for putting a worm on the hook by herself. This all brings back fun memories of me fishing with my Daddy. I'm so glad Dano takes the time to enjoy his kids and teach them fun things. He could have taken this time to fish by himself and catch some "real" fish, but instead he invested the time in his children. What a wonderful father... and husband.
