PASSPORT TO CHRISTMAS
Give your children the experience
of Christmas around the world!
Children ages 5–12,
accompanied by a parent, can join us at the:
JAARS Center in Waxhaw
Tuesday, December 21, 2010
or Wednesday, December 22, 2010
8:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.
THEY WILL:
*get a taste of world cultures, languages, foods, craft-making, and stories,
*have their photo taken “in the village” or as the pilot of a mock Kodiak airplane,
and email it on the spot from JAARS to their friends and relatives.
*learn ways they can share the gift of Christmas with others,
*watch the dubbing of children’s voices into the JESUS film, and
*learn why Christmas can’t be fully celebrated by people who speak more than
2,000 languages.
Start a new family tradition this year with Passport to Christmas.
* celebrate the birth of Jesus in a new and unusual way
* help your children capture the true significance of Christmas
* cope with the activity challenges of your kids’ out-of-school schedule
* free yourself from the expectations that steal your joy!
