He Has Risen! This morning we celebrated His Resurrection at church. Without the Resurrection, there'd be no forgiveness. I am forever grateful for that Resurrection! Thank you Lord, for that resurrection power! I'm always standing in need of forgiveness!
Olivia sang with the children's choir in the 9 a.m. service & the 11 a.m. service, so we had to be there at 8:30 a.m. (and we made it!)! So, I didn't get a chance to take our "Easter Pictures" until after church & after lunch... so excuse all the wrinkles! =0) They were ironed when they put them on this morning (thanks to Dano ironing last night!) The Navy can sure teach a man to iron! I know he's thankful for that skill! ha ha ha! *I* am thankful for that skill. I am thankful for Dano! Anyway... here are the kiddos... and us, even! Yes, I'm huge! What's new?

We did pretty good getting Wesley to stand (instead of run off) long enough to get his picture... he just didn't get very close to the others!

The hug was their idea! We have quite a few flowering trees in our yard. Some of them are fruit trees. I can't wait to see if they produce some yummy fruit!

Olivia took our picture! I'll have her trained to be a photographer soon! She can do a good job... if we can get her to hold the camera straight. There are about 3 pictures that look "artistic!"

Now about this last picture! Well, we traditionally dye eggs on Easter so that the kids hands, etc. aren't blue or green on Easter morning. We finally got around to it tonight after supper before bed. Well, Wesley WASN'T working with us. He was wandering around playing while Dano was in the kitchen & I was helping the 3 oldest ones decorate. Well, I had just put an egg in the green dye... then I was helping one of the others... when HE snuck up & decided to look in the glass! Well, as you can see, he made a mess! (He looks guilty doesn't he?) Thankfully, it wasn't as bad as it could have been... the egg didn't fall down to the floor & neither did the glass! And the FABRIC chair was just out of the way! So, instead it was just a HUGE green mess in the floor & on Wesley! The mess in floor cleaned up just fine, but I don't know how long Wesley will have those green tatoos on his face, neck, hands, arm, belly, jammies, etc.!! They call it dye for a reason!! (Thankfully, I had the camera right there so I could capture it on "film." )
Hope your Easter was filled with forgiveness, resurrection power, and fun!
